When I create work I treat it as if I am telling a tall tale. I mix fact with fiction to create something that has the effect of a memory. For example: In a search for something I had never seen before I found this flower in an article on the internet. I don't remember the Latin name but it did change my perception of what "flower" can be. I decided that was worth documenting as a reminder that being open is far more beneficial to the development of one's mind than being set in one way of thinking.
